| In the Research Center, you can develop technologies that boost your Realm and your heroes. To unlock this building, you need to complete all Realm adventures and upgrade Hall of Heroes to level 9. |
Once you unlock the Research Center, you can advance in various areas:
- Growth technologies enhance Realm processes, such as construction and training speed, and improve heroes' defensive stats, including health, defenses, dodge, and toughness.
- Economic technologies boost resource production.
- Battle technologies enhance troops' efficiency and increase heroes' attack stats, such as physical and magic attack, physical and magic critical hit rates.
Note: Technologies that boost heroes' stats apply to all heroes on your profile and work across all game modes. You can view unlocked bonuses in the Technologies tab of the hero list:
To view all unlocked bonuses, press My Bonuses in the lower-left corner.
To see the technology details, tap its icon. This window shows the bonuses it provides and the requirements needed to unlock it.
- You need enough resources to begin research.
- More advanced technologies require a higher-level Research Center.
- Technologies can only be unlocked in the order shown in the tree. Thus, you can check what boost you need to unlock first.
Similar to construction, you can instantly complete research using emeralds, consuming only the resources you currently have. Elarite is an exception — you need the required amount to use instant research.
You can also choose to research with a timer. Timed research can be sped up, and as you level up the Research Center, your research speed increases.
There is only one queue, so you can research just one technology at a time. After starting research, you can upgrade other technologies only with emeralds. To clear the queue, you can speed up the research or cancel it.
