Training Troops

Note: The Realm mechanics are still in development and may change as work continues. This article provides details about the version available as of February 23, 2026.

Troops help your heroes in battles on the World map and transport resources from mining points.

There are three types of troops, each with a specific advantage: Infantry are effective against Spearmen, Spearmen counter Marksmen, and Marksmen excel against Infantry.

You can train them in three different camps, which unlock progressively as you advance through the Realm adventure. Each camp is named after its type of troop:

Upgrading the camps improves troops' following stats:

  • Training Capacity indicates the maximum number of troops you can train at a time.
  • Training Speed decreases the time needed to train troops. Higher troop levels and training more units simultaneously will increase the training duration.
  • Each trained troop contributes to your total Realm power.
Note: You cannot start training in a camp that is being upgraded. Similarly, if training is ongoing, the building cannot be upgraded until training finishes.

Tap on any camp to open the training window, where you can find:

  1. Switching between the available troop types.
  2. The selected troop type and its level.
  3. Access to troop stats:
    • Power.
    • Defense.
    • Attack.
    • Health.
    • Lethality boosts the chance of dealing critical hits, the power of that damage, and the chances of eliminating opponent troops during an attack.
    • Load determines how many resources a troop can carry from the mining points.
  4. Troop promotion, which unlocks at camp level 13. If you have troops of a lower level than the highest available for a particular type, you can promote some or all of them to the maximum level.

  5. Training cost. You can use the bar to set the number of troops to train in a batch. Training fewer troops takes less time and uses fewer resources.
Note: The total number of troops you can train simultaneously equals the combined Training Capacity of all camps.
  1. Troops organized by level. From this section, you can select a trained troop level or check how many troops of each level you have.
  2. Similar to construction, Finish instantly completes training by using emeralds. If you press the Train button, the training timer begins. You can speed it up or cancel the training.

Note: If you cancel the training, your resources will not be used. However, any speedups used during this training will not be refunded.
