The Arena is a PvP game mode that unlocks at team level 10. This article tells more about the Arena rules, battles, and rewards.
Arena Menu
To get to the Arena menu, press Hero Arena in the middle of the main game screen:
Then press Open below the Arena option:
In the Arena menu, you can select an opponent to battle. If you do not want to battle the suggested opponent, you can tap Reroll:
After pressing Attack under the chosen opponent, you can gather your attacking team:
In the Arena menu, you can also find:
- Where to set your defense team.
- The number of available Arena Tickets.
- The shortcut to the Arena Shop.
- Your current league and rewards.
- Ranking and the Arena Journal.
Note: You can gather two teams in the Arena: defenders and attackers.
- Defenders fight when other players attack you. You gather this team in the Arena menu.
- Attackers fight when you attack other players. You gather this team after selecting an opponent.
The Journal tab provides information about your latest battles, both in defense and offense:
You can watch battle replays, share them with Guild members, and view the detailed battle statistics here.
Battles
To start a fight, you need an Arena Ticket. You get five free Arena Tickets every day with the daily reset at 5:00 AM your in-game time zone. You can always get more with emeralds: each purchase will grant you five additional attempts. The higher your VIP level, the more purchases you can make a day.
Battles in the Arena last two minutes, just like in the Campaign. If both teams are still alive at the end of the battle, the defense team wins.
You can skip the battle replay by tapping the pause button in the upper-right corner and pressing Skip Battle:
Matchmaking
Players from all over the game compete in the Arena, regardless of the server and region. The game matches you with an opponent close to your ranking.
Leagues
Arena players are divided into several leagues based on their number of ranking points.
When you win a battle both in offense and defense, you get ranking points — Trophies:
When you lose a battle, you lose Trophies:
The number of Trophies you receive or lose after a battle depends on the outcome of the battle, your current league, and the difference between your ranking and your opponent's.
Note: There is no limit on how many Trophies you can get or lose in a day.
Once you get enough Trophies, you move to a higher league.
You can also drop to the lower league if you lose Trophies. The more Trophies you get, the higher the league you will reach and the better your rewards will be.
At the start of a new Season, a number of Trophies based on the league are deducted. It allows players to re-climb through the leagues and earn promotion rewards again. If a player has not participated in the Arena Season, their position does not change at the start of the Season.
Rewards
Press Leagues on the main Arena screen to view all the leagues and the rewards you can get:
By reaching a certain league, you can earn the following bonuses:
- Promotion reward. You receive this reward the first time you advance to a new league. Promotion rewards refresh every Season, so you can earn them many times.
- Daily bonus. You can collect this reward when you enter the Arena for the first time during the day. The day resets at 2:00 AM UTC. The reward amount depends on your highest position on the day before. For example, if you reach the Emerald II league but later drop to the Gold III league, you will get the daily bonus for the Emerald II league on the next day.
