The Campaign is a game mode in Hero Wars: Alliance. It becomes available at the first level and consists of 13 Chapters and 190 missions. You can enter the Campaign through the magic gates on the main game screen:
Basics
In Campaign Chapters, you battle various opponents to gain team and hero EXP, earn Guild activity points, and obtain items required to increase hero rank.
The Campaign consists of 13 Chapters:
- Ruled by Fire.
- Distorted Magic.
- Hardan's Plateau.
- Deadlands.
- Cadang Thicket.
- Chaos Realm.
- Split of Tribes.
- Blazing Heart.
- Archipelago.
- Cursed Waters.
- Nordland.
- Boundless Snow.
- Crystal Throne.
Some gear items cannot be found in the Campaign:
- You can get the Song of the Valkyries, the Evil Genius Cuirass, and the Key to All Doors in the Soul Stone Shop, at the Rarity Fair, during special events, or from a Matter Transfigurator, which can be found in the Hero's Way Shop.
- Some red gear items, such as Peech's Eternal Smile, can be obtained only during special events.
Battles
Completing Campaign missions requires energy. The more difficult the mission, the more energy you need.
Each mission consists of three rounds, each of them lasts for two minutes. If the time expires during any of the rounds, the battle ends in defeat.
Each mission has a star rating, which depends on how many heroes are left alive at the end of a mission:
- all heroes are alive — 3 stars;
- one hero is defeated — 2 stars;
- two or more heroes are defeated — 1 star.
Once you complete a mission with three stars, you can raid it.

If you need help defeating a boss, press the corresponding name to find tips:
To beat Archdemon, you should take one tank, two damage dealers, and two supports or healers. At least one hero should have crowd-control abilities.
Besides, your team level needs to be 80 level or higher.
As Astrild can blind heroes, she can be a tricky boss if you try to beat her with a team full of physical damage dealers. A blinded hero misses any physical damage, either attacks or abilities.
Try gathering a team of heroes whose abilities are not affected by this negative effect, for example, those who deal magic damage.
As Shavarakk can silence heroes, he can be a tricky boss if you try to beat him with a team full of mages. A silenced hero cannot use any abilities except those that deal physical damage.
Try gathering a team of heroes whose abilities are not affected by silence, for example, those who deal physical damage.
Raid
Raid allows completing missions instantly. It requires the same amount of energy as manual completion.
Note
When you raid a mission, you get EXP Potions instead of hero EXP Points. To level up your heroes, you can use the received EXP Potions.
Raid options depend on your VIP level.
If you are VIP 0, you can raid missions with Raid Tickets. To get them:
- complete the daily quest "Watch 2 short videos";
- purchase them at the Theater with Theater Tickets.
To spend your Raid Tickets, select a mission and tap the Raid button:
Once you reach VIP level 1, you receive a Golden Raid Ticket that allows you to raid missions using the x1 option without Raid Tickets:
Once you reach VIP level 5, you unlock repeated Instant Missions. This feature allows you to raid Campaign missions in bulk, either by spending all your energy or using the x3 or x10 options.
