After pressing Attack under the chosen opponent, you can select your attacking teams:

Note
Opponents cannot view your third squad once you reach rank 100 or higher. When your ranking position is between 20th and 2nd place, rivals will not see your second squad. Once you get first place, all your squads become hidden.

In the Journal tab, you can find information about your latest battles, both in defense and attack:

Battles

To start a fight, you need a battle attempt. You get five free battle attempts every day with the daily reset at 5:00 AM your in-game time. You can always get more with emeralds: each purchase will grant you five additional attempts. The higher your VIP level, the more purchases you can make a day.

Each battle in the Grand Arena lasts two minutes. If both teams are still alive at the end of the fight, the defending team wins. It is enough to win two of the three battles to earn a victory.

Note
All battles in the Grand Arena are automatic, and you cannot control your heroes manually. The game server calculates the battle results when you press the To battle button. The battle you see is just the recording; it is not real-time.

You can skip the battle replay by tapping the pause button in the upper-right corner and pressing either Skip Battle to skip one fight or Skip All to skip all three fights:

Matchmaking

The Grand Arena has two matchmaking ranges: visible and hidden.

  • The visible range includes player positions you can see in the list of suggested opponents.

  • The hidden range is wider than the visible range. It ensures that opponents do not disappear while you are choosing an opponent or heroes to attack. Without this range, you would have to constantly look for a new opponent because positions in the Grand Arena are dynamic and change quickly.

Note
The hidden range allows you to attack an opponent even if they have changed their position while you were selecting your heroes. However, if the new position is outside both the visible and hidden range, you will have to look for a different opponent.

Rewards

There are three reward types in the Grand Arena:

  1. Your ranking reward. You receive a certain number of Grand Arena Coins per hour according to your position. The Coins accumulate until you collect them.
  2. Daily reward. At 8:00 PM your in-game time, you receive a daily reward according to the highest ranking in the Grand Arena. The reward arrives in a letter in your in-game mailbox.

Note
You get the daily reward only if you attack at least once in the Grand Arena before 8:00 PM your in-game time zone. This article provides more details on how the daily Arena / Grand Arena reward is issued.

  1. Successful defense reward. Every day you can get 10 Grand Arena Coins for the first five successful defenses, up to 50 Coins a day. They arrive in a letter in your in-game mailbox.
